Launched in 2019, Muse by Xerjoff is a Chypre Fruity fragrance for women and men, created by perfumer Emilie Bouge. The composition opens with the sweet, tart notes of plum and raspberry, balanced by the rich warmth of white flowers and jasmine. As it settles, leather and labdanum add an animalic depth to the base, while patchouli brings a grounding earthiness. This fragrance is a study in contrasts — fruity sweetness meets the richness of amber and musk, creating an intriguing tension that makes Muse both captivating and complex.
Apply Muse with two sprays — the fruity top notes will shine for about an hour before giving way to its more complex base. It reads better close to skin than across a room, so layer it under a jacket for a subtle yet enduring presence.
