Serge de Oliveira crafted Soprano by Xerjoff in 2019, a fragrance that marries the brightness of litchi and freesia with the depth of oud and patchouli. The composition opens with a fruity vibrancy from litchi and calabrian bergamot, before transitioning into a heart of Bulgarian rose and Egyptian jasmine. These florals are enveloped by the rich, woody notes of agarwood (oud) and patchouli, creating an intricate blend that is both delicate and profound.
Apply Soprano in light layers to let each note develop gradually. The fruity top notes are fleeting but vibrant, while the woody base can last for hours. This fragrance is best suited for evening wear when its depth can fully unfold.
