The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2018 by Alberto Morillas for Gucci, Guilty Oud is a composition that marries the vibrant brightness of Bulgarian rose and blackberry with the rich depth of oud and patchouli. This unisex EDP opens with a burst of pink pepper, adding a spicy contrast to the sweet floral notes. The heart reveals the complexity of cypriol oil or nagarmotha, which adds an earthy warmth before settling into a base that combines leather and amber for a sensual and lingering finish. Gucci's reputation for elegant craftsmanship is evident in this fragrance, where each note layers seamlessly to create a luxurious olfactory experience.
With its strong sillage and long-lasting quality, one or two sprays is enough to make a lasting impression. The fragrance blooms over time, so it's best applied closer to skin for an intimate warmth rather than a room-filling presence.
