The story behind the bottle.
Gucci Oud, launched in 2014 by Ilias Ermenidis, is an Oriental Woody fragrance that seamlessly blends the rich warmth of oud with the delicate floral notes of Bulgarian rose and orange blossom. The opening burst of raspberry and saffron adds a fruity and spicy edge before settling into a warm and enveloping base of patchouli, amber, and musk. This composition reflects Gucci's tradition of combining refined elegance with innovative craftsmanship, creating a scent that is both luxurious and deeply engaging.
Given its strong sillage and long-lasting nature, one or two sprays are plenty. The fruity top notes will fade after about an hour, but the base notes will continue to evolve on your skin throughout the day. It's best suited for evening wear when you want a scent that lingers and makes an impression.
