The story behind the bottle.
Heart Of Ylang by Zara was launched in 2017 as a floral fragrance for women that balances the bright and warm aspects of nature. The composition opens with bergamot and red currant, bringing an initial freshness and vibrancy, before diving into the heart where ylang-ylang and jasmine sambac create a lush, sweet floral bouquet. This is further enriched by sandalwood, musk, and cedar in the base, which lend a warm, powdery depth that grounds the scent with earthy sensuality.
Two sprays are enough — the top notes fade after about an hour, but the heart and base notes continue to develop. This fragrance is best suited for daytime wear as it reads warm and comforting close to skin rather than projecting across a room.
