The story behind the bottle.
Surfing Uluwatu by Zara launched in 2025 as a fresh take on the citrus-aromatic genre. The fragrance opens with bright cassis and bergamot, creating an immediate sense of freshness that feels invigorating and crisp. This is balanced by warm spicy notes and green accords, which lend depth and a touch of earthiness to the composition. As it settles, cedar and amber provide a woody base that feels grounding and comforting.
Apply one or two sprays to ensure the bright citrus notes are noticeable initially. The fragrance develops best close to skin rather than in the air, so aim for pulse points like wrists and neck. It's perfect for daytime wear as it keeps its freshness throughout the day.
