Launched in 2022, Zafferano by Acqua di Parma is a fragrance that embodies the essence of Italian elegance with a modern twist. The composition opens with bright citrus and aromatic notes, featuring mandarin orange, bitter orange, and bergamot, which create an invigorating freshness. As it develops, warm spicy and white floral accords come to the forefront, highlighted by saffron, geranium, rose, and jasmine sambac, adding a luxurious depth to the scent. The base notes of woody and vanilla complete this complex aroma with a lingering warmth.
Zafferano has moderate longevity and sillage, so apply it lightly to allow its layers to unfold gradually. The bright top notes are short-lived, but the heart and base notes will last through the day, making it ideal for daytime wear.
