The story behind the bottle.
Strings of Oud, launched by Ajmal in 2026 and crafted by Philippine Courtière, weaves a complex blend of fresh and warm spices, tobacco, and woody notes. The composition begins with the sharpness of black pepper and cardamom, which then meld into the smoky warmth of incense and cypress. A heart of geranium and wormwood adds an herbal layer before settling into a base of cedarwood, tobacco leaf, and bourbon vanilla. This fragrance is neither overly sweet nor overpowering; instead, it offers a nuanced balance that reflects Ajmal's mastery of perfumery.
Given its long-lasting nature, one or two sprays are sufficient. This fragrance builds gradually on the skin, so it's best applied early in the day to allow the full depth of notes to unfold throughout the hours.
