Launched in 2018 by Akro, Awake is a fragrance that embodies the brand's rebellious yet chic aesthetic, inspired by both London and Paris. Olivier Cresp crafted this composition with a warm spicy opening, featuring notes of coffee and citrus that give way to an aromatic woody base. The result is a scent that feels both grounded and uplifting, capturing the essence of waking up to a new day filled with possibilities.
One or two sprays are sufficient — the citrus notes in Awake are bright but don't overpower. The warm spicy and woody base develops gradually, so it's best applied a bit before you step out. This fragrance reads better close to skin than across a room.
