Launched in 2024 by Al Haramain Perfumes, Black Oud is a bold and warm composition that draws on the rich traditions of Arabian fragrances. The scent opens with a striking blend of cardamom, cloves, black pepper, and thyme — notes that are both fresh and spicy, creating an immediate sense of depth and complexity. This aromatic opening gives way to a heart of oud, vetiver, cedar, and rose, which add layers of earthiness and floral warmth. The base notes of tonka bean, sandalwood, vanilla, amber, and musk provide a rich and enveloping finish that lingers on the skin for hours.
Given its strong sillage and long-lasting nature, one to two sprays is sufficient. This fragrance projects well from the skin, so avoid over-application. Black Oud pairs particularly well with cooler evenings or formal settings where its rich character can shine.
