The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2020 by Alfred Dunhill, Amalfi Citrus is a Woody Floral Musk fragrance created by perfumer Olivier Gillotin. This composition opens with a vibrant burst of citrus — lemon, bergamot, and green mandarin — that immediately signals freshness and energy. The heart adds layers of green tea, jasmine, and cardamom, creating an aromatic complexity that feels both invigorating and warm. As the fragrance settles into its woody base notes of vetiver and musk, it retains a subtle spiciness and floral warmth, making it feel like two scents in one.
One spritz is enough for this bright fragrance. The citrus top notes are immediate but fleeting, so apply just before you leave to capture that initial burst of freshness. The warm base notes will develop gradually throughout the day.
