The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 1984 by Alfred Dunhill, Dunhill Edition was crafted by perfumer Alain Astori. This aromatic fougère fragrance opens with a fresh spicy kick from nutmeg and Amalfi lemon, before settling into a heart of lavender, clary sage, and carnation. The woody base notes of vetiver, oak moss, Virginia cedar, amber, and tonka bean provide a grounding warmth that contrasts beautifully with the freshness above. Dunhill Edition is an embodiment of British elegance and sophistication, blending crisp, modern aromatics with traditional woody accords.
Dunhill Edition projects best with two sprays on pulse points. The aromatic top notes are lively for the first hour before giving way to the richer base notes. It's better suited for daytime wear when its fresh and warm contrasts can be appreciated more fully.
