X-Centric by Alfred Dunhill, launched in 2001 and created by perfumers Maurice Roucel and Frank Voelkl, is a Woody Aromatic fragrance that embodies the brand’s British heritage of innovation and elegance. The composition opens with a bright, fresh spicy note from cardamom and nutmeg, which contrasts sharply with the warm, woody base of guaiac wood and sandalwood. This interplay between freshness and warmth creates a dynamic scent that evolves throughout the day, much like Alfred Dunhill’s transformation from a saddlery to an automobile accessory store.
This fragrance has a strong initial impact but settles into a warm base over time. Apply two sprays to ensure that both the top and base notes are fully experienced throughout the day. It’s best for daytime wear as it captures the essence of fresh, evolving scents.
