Esprit d'Amouage by Amouage launched in 2004 and is a composition that marries the brand's traditional Middle Eastern influences with contemporary elegance. The fragrance opens with bay leaf and red berries, creating an unexpected tension between herbal freshness and sweet fruitiness. This playful contrast leads to a heart of freesia, red rose, magnolia, and jasmine, which adds layers of floral complexity. The base notes of sandalwood, benzoin, amber, labdanum, and vanilla create a warm, enveloping finish that is both intimate and expansive.
Given its enormous sillage and eternal longevity, one well-placed spray on each wrist or behind the ears will suffice. The fragrance projects strongly from close to skin, so avoid over-application to prevent it from becoming overpowering.
