The story behind the bottle.
Muse by Andrea Maack, launched in 2025 and crafted by perfumer Domitille Michalon Bertier, is an invitation to immerse oneself in the lush tropics wrapped in woody warmth. The fragrance opens with a burst of mango and pink pepper, creating a vibrant contrast that immediately captures attention. This freshness gives way to a heart of sweet pea and gardenia, which soften into the rich, enveloping base notes of cashmere wood, sandalwood, and cedarwood. Muse is neither too heavy nor too light — it balances tropical brightness with woody depth.
Apply Muse in light layers — its tropical top notes are bright but fade within an hour. The woody base develops gradually over time, so it's best to allow it to settle for at least two hours after application for full effect.
