Silver Iris by Atelier Cologne, launched in 2013 and crafted by perfumer Jérôme Epinette, is a composition that seamlessly blends the freshness of citrus with the depth of powdery woods. The fragrance opens with bright notes of black currant and tangerine, leading into an iris heart that brings a subtle earthiness and softness. This is further enhanced by the violet leaf and mimosa, which add layers of complexity before settling into a base of musk, patchouli, and white amber. Silver Iris embodies the brand’s commitment to creating colognes with character, merging citrus and herbal notes for a richer and longer-lasting effect.
Silver Iris is best applied in two sprays — the top notes are vibrant but fleeting, while the musk and patchouli base notes develop gradually over time. It pairs well with cooler evenings but can also carry you through a warm afternoon.
