The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2018 by Atelier des Ors, Bois Sikar is a Woody Spicy fragrance created by Marie Salamagne. The composition opens with the warmth of nutmeg and styrax before diving into the heart of precious woods, guaiac wood, and cedar leaves. A subtle note of tobacco leaf adds depth and richness, while Java vetiver oil grounds the scent with its earthy undertones. This fragrance is neither overtly masculine nor feminine, embodying a sophisticated balance between warmth and spiciness.
Apply Bois Sikar in thin layers to allow its woody base notes to gradually unfold. The tobacco leaf accent becomes more pronounced over time, so it's best to let it settle for about an hour before reapplying if needed.
