The story behind the bottle.
Christian Provenzano crafted Blue Sapphire for Boadicea the Victorious in 2013, infusing it with an aromatic complexity that oscillates between freshness and warmth. The fragrance opens with a bright lemon note, balanced by chamomile and sage, creating a herbal-citrus harmony. This initial freshness gives way to the rich florals of rose and marigold, which are further enhanced by saffron's warm spice. As the composition settles, agarwood (oud) and patchouli provide depth, while amber rounds out the base with an earthy warmth. Blue Sapphire is a proof of Boadicea the Victorious' commitment to blending British heritage with incomparable quality.
One or two sprays are enough to capture Blue Sapphire's layered character. The lemon and chamomile notes fade within an hour, but the woody base notes ensure it lasts well throughout the day. Best suited for evenings or cooler weather when its depth can fully unfold.
