The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2018 by Boadicea the Victorious, Moccus is a fragrance that embodies the brand's commitment to quintessentially British elegance and incomparable quality. Created by perfumer Christian Provenzano, this composition opens with fresh spicy notes of juniper berries and black pepper, balanced by the aromatic freshness of lavender and orris root. The heart introduces earthy patchouli and labdanum, while the base offers a warm embrace of leather, cashmeran, caramel, benzoin, vanilla, and tonka bean, creating a rich blend of powdery musk and amber.
Given its enormous sillage and eternal longevity, Moccus requires careful application. A single spray is often enough to fill the room and linger throughout the day. It’s best applied close to skin for an intimate experience rather than from a distance.
