The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2013 by Boadicea the Victorious and crafted by perfumer Christian Provenzano, Oxford is a unisex fragrance that captures the essence of quintessential British elegance. The composition opens with zesty citrus notes of lemon, grapefruit, and bergamot, which are seamlessly blended with aromatic clary sage and lavender. The heart introduces a fresh spicy touch with neroli and petitgrain, while jasmine adds a subtle floral warmth. The base notes of musk, vetiver, and amber ground the fragrance, creating an earthy yet warm finish.
Given its strong sillage and long-lasting nature, Oxford is best applied sparingly — one or two sprays will be enough to make a statement. Its base notes take time to bloom, so it’s ideal for daytime use when you want the fragrance to evolve throughout your day.
