Launched in 2018 by Louis Vuitton and crafted by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, Orage is a Woody fragrance for men that captures the essence of an autumn storm. The composition opens with bright citrus notes from bergamot and grapefruit, which cut through the air like crisp raindrops before giving way to a heart of hedione and iris. The base notes of java vetiver oil, patchouli, iso e super, and white musk create a grounded and earthy warmth that lingers like damp soil after a downpour.
Orage has a strong citrus opening that fades within two hours, so aim for one or two sprays to ensure the woody and earthy base notes have time to develop. This scent reads better close to skin rather than across a room, making it ideal for intimate settings.
