The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2020 by Bogue, Douleur!2 and men is an aquatic and metallic fragrance that embodies the innovative spirit of its creator, Antonio Gardoni. The composition opens with a bright melon and mint accord that reads as fresh and crisp, before giving way to a complex heart of camphor and rose, adding depth and intrigue. The base notes of civet, resins, and benzoin provide an earthy warmth that contrasts beautifully against the cool, metallic undertones.
This fragrance is best applied in light layers to allow its nuanced notes to unfold gradually. It's particularly effective when worn close to skin, making it perfect for daytime wear or a low-key evening out.
