The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2022 by Bortnikoff, Cologne Céleste is a Citrus Gourmand fragrance created by Dmitry Bortnikoff. The composition opens with a vibrant array of citrus notes — citron, lemon, pink grapefruit, blood orange, and blood mandarin — that evoke the freshness and brightness of a sunlit day. These top notes give way to a heart of damask rose and rose petals, adding a touch of floral elegance before settling into a base of beeswax, pine tree, oakmoss, sandalwood, and cedar. The result is a fragrance that feels both modern and lasting, blending the crispness of citrus with the warmth of woody accords.
This fragrance blooms best when applied to pulse points. The citrus top notes dissipate quickly, so it’s important to let it settle for about an hour before heading out. Cologne Céleste is ideal for daytime wear, where its fresh and vibrant character shines brightest.
