The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2021 by Bortnikoff and crafted by Dmitry Bortnikoff, Oud Cologne is a sophisticated blend of citrus and aromatic notes that seamlessly transitions into warm, woody undertones. The fragrance opens with the brightness of bitter orange, white grapefruit, and bergamot, which gives way to fresh spicy elements like juniper berries and pink pepper. At its core, geranium and rose add floral depth, while Thailand oud and ambergris provide a rich and animalic base that lingers on the skin. This composition is a proof of Bortnikoff’s commitment to using rare and distinctive materials, making Oud Cologne stand out in its complexity and richness.
Oud Cologne's rich base notes take time to develop fully. Apply it in the morning for maximum impact throughout the day. The scent is best enjoyed close to the skin rather than from a distance — aim for pulse points like wrists and neck.
