The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2023 by Bortnikoff, Scheherazade is a collaborative effort between perfumers Dmitry Bortnikoff and Rajesh Balkrishnan. This fragrance opens with bright citrus notes of bergamot and blood mandarin, which contrast beautifully against the rich warmth of apricot and black currant. The heart introduces an intriguing mix of pepper and Malaysian oud, creating a fresh yet spicy tension that adds depth to the composition. As it settles, Scheherazade reveals its woody base with sandalwood and cedar, grounding the overall experience in earthy comfort.
Apply Scheherazade in light layers — the citrus top notes are vibrant but fleeting. The spicy heart and woody base will continue to evolve throughout the day, providing a comforting presence close to your skin.
