Old Fashioned by By Kilian, launched in 2024 and crafted by perfumer Sidonie Lancesseur, is an Oriental Fougere that weaves together the comforting warmth of amber and wood with a touch of herbal and balsamic notes. Opening with wheat and davana, it creates a rich, earthy foundation that blossoms into a heart of bergamot, immortelle, and orange blossom. The base notes of cedar, whiskey, tuberose, tolu balsam, and styrax add depth and complexity, evoking the cozy ambiance of an aged library or a well-loved leather-bound book.
Apply Old Fashioned to pulse points in layers for maximum impact. The initial wheat and davana notes are fleeting, so let it settle for a few minutes before leaving. This fragrance is best enjoyed close to the skin rather than across a room, making it perfect for intimate settings or cozy evenings.
