The story behind the bottle.
Sellier by Byredo, launched in 2019 and crafted by perfumer Jérôme Epinette, is an unisex fragrance that captures the essence of a storied leather goods workshop. The composition opens with a smoky, woody aroma from birch and oakmoss before settling into a warm base of leather, tobacco leaf, and musk. This blend evokes a sense of craftsmanship and heritage, with subtle notes of cashmeran and black tea adding depth to the overall experience.
This fragrance is best applied lightly — it develops gradually over time. Allow it to settle into your skin for at least 15 minutes before going out. It's particularly suited for cooler evenings or indoor settings where its intimate warmth can fully unfold.
