Reine de Nuit by Byredo, launched in 2015 and crafted by Jérôme Epinette, is an enigmatic Chypre Floral fragrance that embodies the charm of a mysterious night. The composition opens with black currant and saffron, creating a vibrant yet smoky contrast that gives way to a heart of incense, alumroot, and black rose. This distinctive blend of notes is anchored by a warm base of patchouli and ambrette (musk mallow), resulting in a fragrance that feels both intimate and slightly enigmatic.
Given its long-lasting nature, one or two sprays are sufficient. The fragrance unfolds gradually over time, so applying it closer to skin ensures that you can experience its full depth throughout the day.
