Launched in 2019, Casablanca Lily 2019 by Byredo is an Oriental Floral fragrance that captures the essence of a warm and enveloping embrace. The composition begins with bright gardenia and plum, creating a fruity floral opening that sets the stage for the heart notes of Indian tuberose and carnation. These are complemented by honey's sweetness, adding depth and richness to the scent. The base features palisander rosewood, which brings an animalic and lactonic warmth, grounding the composition in earthy, sensual tones.
Apply this fragrance to pulse points for maximum effect — it blooms beautifully on skin within an hour. The sweet and fruity top notes are fleeting, but the rich base will last throughout the day.
