HeartThe Soul
The story behind the bottle.
CK One Shock For Her, launched by Calvin Klein in 2011 and crafted by perfumers Ann Gottlieb and IFF, is a rich blend of sweet and spicy notes. The fragrance opens with the vibrant freshness of passion flower and red poppy before transitioning into a heart of peony, blackberry, and Mexican chocolate, creating an intriguing balance between fruity sweetness and floral complexity. This composition is further enriched by narcissus, jasmine, and vanilla, which give way to a warm base of musk, amber, and patchouli, offering a powdery and cacao-infused depth.
CK One Shock For Her is best applied in two or three well-placed sprays. The top notes are bright but short-lived, so a heavier initial application allows the warm base to take center stage as the day progresses. It pairs particularly well with warmer evenings when its spicy and sweet elements can fully bloom.
