Crave by Calvin Klein was launched in 2002 and crafted by perfumers Jean-Marc Chaillan, Pascal Gaurin, and Yves Cassar. This aromatic fougère fragrance opens with a bright burst of bergamot and starfish, creating an intriguing marine freshness that cuts through the spicy accords of basil, pimento, and coriander. The heart notes of birch and vetiver add a woody depth, while musk, nutmeg, oakmoss, tonka bean, and sandalwood form a warm, earthy base that lingers on the skin.
Crave opens with a bright burst that fades within an hour, so apply it close to your skin for a more intimate experience. The warm base notes take about an hour to bloom fully, making this fragrance best suited for daytime wear.
