The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2010 by Carolina Herrera and crafted by perfumer Alberto Morillas, 212 VIP quickly became a cultural touchstone of the decade. With its slogan 'Are you on the list?' it was closely associated with the nightlife scene of the early 2010s, often grouped alongside fragrances like 1 Million and Eros as part of the iconic 'clubbing bro holy trinity.' Over time, its cultural significance has evolved; today, it's appreciated not just for nights out but as a versatile daytime scent. The composition features rum and passionfruit at the top, giving way to gardenia and musk, with a warm base of vanilla and tonka bean that lingers comfortably.
Apply two sprays to your pulse points. The rum and passionfruit top notes are bright but fade quickly, while the musky base holds up well throughout the day or evening. This fragrance reads best close to skin rather than in a wide sillage.
