The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2006 by Carolina Herrera and crafted by perfumers Alberto Morillas and Rosendo Mateu, 212 Sexy Men is a composition that balances the sharp freshness of citrus with warm, enveloping notes of vanilla and spices. The fragrance opens with mandarin orange and bergamot, bringing an invigorating brightness to the top. This gives way to green notes and pepper, creating a fresh spicy contrast before settling into a heart of flowers and cardamom. The base is richly woody, featuring guaiac wood, sandalwood, musk, and amber, which add warmth and depth, making it feel like an intimate embrace.
Apply two sprays initially; the fresh spicy top notes will fade within an hour but the warm woody base will last through most of the evening. This fragrance is best worn close to skin for a more intimate effect rather than projecting strongly into a room.
