The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2024 by Carolina Herrera and crafted by Nicolas Bonneville, Amazonian Rose is a Floral fragrance that embodies the lushness of its namesake. The composition opens with cardamom and mandarin orange, creating an aromatic freshness that sets the stage for damask rose at the heart. This floral core is complemented by mate and incense, adding layers of warmth and complexity before settling into a woody, smoky base of sandalwood and amber. Amazonian Rose is neither overtly sweet nor overly spicy; instead, it balances these elements to create an enduring scent that feels both familiar and distinctive.
Amazonian Rose is long-lasting and has moderate sillage, so one or two sprays are sufficient. The warm spicy notes emerge quickly but settle into a more complex profile over time. For best results, apply to pulse points where your body heat will enhance the fragrance’s warmth.
