The story behind the bottle.
This is Him! Vibes of Freedom by Zadig & Voltaire, launched in 2022 and crafted by Nathalie Lorson, offers an aromatic fougère that balances woody warmth with spicy depth. The fragrance opens with a bright mandarin orange and lavender, creating a fresh yet grounding start. As it settles, incense and cardamom introduce an intriguing smoky element, while cedar and patchouli anchor the composition in earthy, warm tones. This blend captures a sense of freedom and sophistication, making it as suitable for an urban setting as it is for more relaxed moments.
One or two sprays are sufficient — the mandarin orange and lavender top notes brighten up quickly but fade within an hour. The incense and cardamom notes then take center stage, providing a smoky warmth that lasts throughout the day.
