The story behind the bottle.
This Is Him! Burning Love by Zadig & Voltaire was launched in 2025 and created by perfumers Nathalie Lorson and Sidonie Lancesseur. The composition opens with a bright burst of citrus, particularly orange, which cuts through the sweetness of vanilla and amber to create an intriguing tension. As it settles, rum adds a warm, boozy depth that contrasts beautifully with the woody notes, grounding the scent in earthy comfort. This fragrance is neither overly sweet nor too sharp, striking a balance between freshness and warmth.
Apply two sprays for a balanced experience — the citrus top notes are bright but dissipate within an hour. The amber and woody base notes carry through the day, making this fragrance ideal for daytime wear that transitions smoothly into evening.
