Launched in 2020, Fusion d'Issey by Issey Miyake is an aromatic fougère that blends the crispness of coconut milk and lemon with warm, spicy notes of cardamom and ambroxan. Perfumer Nathalie Lorson creates a composition that oscillates between freshness and warmth, making it as suitable for a bright morning as it is for a cozy evening. The interplay of fig nectar, rosemary, and geranium adds layers of complexity, while the woody base of sandalwood and patchouli grounds the fragrance.
Apply Fusion d'Issey with two sprays — the aromatic top notes are immediate but fleeting. The warm spicy and woody base notes will develop over time, so it's best to let it settle for at least an hour before layering with other scents.
