The story behind the bottle.
Platinum Leather by Carolina Herrera was launched in 2018 and crafted by Amandine Clerc-Marie, a nose known for her ability to blend complex accords into harmonious compositions. This fragrance opens with the spicy brightness of pink pepper and cypriol oil before settling into a rich blend of leather, patchouli, jasmine, and musk. The earthy and powdery base notes create a warm, enveloping atmosphere that is neither overly sweet nor heavy.
Due to its strong sillage and long-lasting nature, one or two sprays are sufficient. The fragrance blooms over time, so it's best applied before heading out for the evening. It reads well close to skin, making it perfect for a night out.

Amandine Clerc Marie
Grasse-born, Firmenich-trainedAmandine Clerc-Marie is a French perfumer born in Grasse, where her mother also worked in the perfume industry. She trained at ISIPCA and spent more than ten years working alongside Michel Almairac before joining Firmenich in 2011 as a senior perfumer.
