La Selection Piu Bellodgia by Caron, launched in 2013 and crafted by perfumer Richard Fraysse, is an Oriental Floral fragrance that embodies the house’s enduring legacy of refined elegance. This composition opens with a bright floral bouquet of carnation, rose, lily-of-the-valley, and jasmine, creating a lush and vibrant top layer. As it settles, warm spices like cloves and cinnamon add depth, while musk, sandalwood, and cedar provide an earthy foundation that grounds the scent in rich warmth.
This fragrance blooms best when applied to pulse points and allowed time to settle. The spicy notes are most noticeable in the first half-hour, so avoid layering heavily; two sprays should suffice. It pairs well with a light jacket or cardigan for added warmth.
