Launched in 2011, Cartier De Lune is Mathilde Laurent's creation for the storied French house known for its attention to detail and elegance. The fragrance opens with a fresh aromatic blend of juniper berries and pink pepper, creating an immediate sense of crispness and vibrancy. This freshness then gives way to a heart of lily-of-the-valley, rose, and cyclamen, which bring a delicate floral bouquet that is both powdery and sweet. The base notes of musk and woody accords ground the composition with warmth and depth.
This fragrance blooms best when applied to pulse points. The fresh spicy notes evaporate quickly, so it’s important to let it settle for about 15 minutes before heading out. For a longer-lasting effect, layer it with a matching body lotion.
