Launched in 2016, Declaration Fraiche by Cartier is an aromatic woody fragrance that embodies the house's celebrated attention to detail and elegance. The composition opens with bright bergamot and fresh spices like coriander and cardamom, creating a crisp and invigorating start. As it evolves, warm notes of cumin, vetiver, and cedar emerge, grounding the scent in earthy depth without losing its freshness.
One to two sprays is sufficient — the bergamot opening is vibrant but brief. The vetiver and cedar base notes develop gradually over time, so it's best applied with enough lead time for the full character to emerge.
