The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2025 by Chanel, Gabrielle Fragrance Primer is a floral composition that channels the elegance and simplicity of its namesake. The fragrance opens with bright citrus notes like black currant and grapefruit, creating an invigorating freshness that transitions seamlessly into a heart of tuberose, orange blossom, jasmine, and ylang ylang. These florals are rich yet restrained, balanced by musky and powdery undertones that add warmth without overpowering the overall composition. The base notes of sandalwood and musk ground the fragrance, giving it a subtle animalic depth that echoes Chanel's tradition of refined sophistication.
Given its intimate sillage and poor longevity, Gabrielle Fragrance Primer is best applied liberally to pulse points. It's designed to stay close to the skin, so multiple applications throughout the day will ensure it remains noticeable. Ideal for daytime wear when you want a subtle but sophisticated scent.
