N°5 L’EAU – Limited Edition by Chanel was launched in 2024 and crafted by Olivier Polge. This fragrance carries the legacy of Chanel's enduring elegance, with a fresh twist that feels both modern and lasting. The composition opens with bright citrus notes — lime, lemon, and bergamot — giving way to aldehydic freshness that is immediately recognizable as a nod to the original N°5. The heart blends neroli and jasmine for a floral warmth, while orris root adds an earthy depth. A musky base anchors the scent with a powdery sweetness, making it both fresh and comforting.
This fragrance has moderate longevity and sillage, so one or two sprays are sufficient. The citrus notes fade within an hour, but the aldehydic freshness and musky base carry through the day. Best for daytime wear when you want a fresh scent that stays close to skin.
