The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2017 by Clive Christian, VIII Rococo Immortelle is a composition that balances bright citrus and aromatic notes with warm spices and rich woods. Perfumer Celia Orozco Cirimbilli crafts an opening of bergamot and lemon that feels fresh yet refined, leading to the heart note of immortelle, which adds a floral warmth. Vetiver and papyrus lend earthy depth, while amber rounds out the base with a touch of sweetness and leather-like complexity.
This fragrance blooms best close to skin rather than projecting into a room. Start with one spray — the citrus top notes are vibrant but fleeting, and the rich base will develop on your skin over time. Ideal for cooler weather when you want something warm yet fresh.
