The story behind the bottle.
Cedre Atlas by Atelier Cologne was launched in 2015 and crafted by perfumer Jérôme Epinette. This woody-citrus composition opens with a bright burst of lemon and bergamot, creating an immediate freshness that feels both crisp and uplifting. As the fragrance develops, black currant and apricot add a subtle fruity warmth to the mix, while cedar and vetiver ground it in a lush, earthy foundation. The base notes of jasmine, papyrus, and amber contribute a powdery, slightly sweet finish that lingers on the skin, making this scent both unisex and versatile.
Apply Cedre Atlas with two sprays for a balanced effect. The citrus top notes are vibrant and brief, so it's best to layer them over the powdery woods that form the base. This fragrance is better suited for daytime wear when the fresh citrus notes can shine without overpowering.
