Launched in 2003 by Comme des Garçons, Happy Pillow is a fragrance that embodies the avant-garde spirit of its Parisian creator Rei Kawakubo. The composition opens with aromatic and earthy notes that create an unexpected contrast against the warm, woody base infused with smoky and balsamic undertones. This juxtaposition makes it feel both familiar and innovative, much like a modern urban space where old meets new.
Apply Happy Pillow sparingly — the smoky and balsamic notes project well and linger for hours. It’s best worn close to skin rather than filling a room, allowing its complex layers to unfold gradually throughout the day.
