Launched in 2009, Daphne by Comme des Garçons is an olfactory statement from perfumer Antoine Lie that balances warmth and complexity with modern restraint. The composition opens with citrus freshness, quickly giving way to a rich heart of tuberose and white florals, underscored by warm spicy notes and smoky undertones. The base is a harmonious blend of amber, patchouli, and balsamic accords, creating an enduring warmth that lingers on the skin.
Given its strong sillage and eternal longevity, one or two sprays is plenty to ensure that Daphne lasts throughout the day. It’s best applied directly to pulse points for maximum warmth and depth.
