Launched in 2008, Cruise Collection - Escale à Portofino by Dior captures the essence of an Italian seaside escape with its bright citrus and aromatic notes. Perfumer François Demachy has crafted a composition that opens with bergamot and lemon, creating a vibrant freshness that evokes the sun-drenched landscape of Portofino. The heart of orange blossom and juniper berries adds a touch of floral spiciness, while the base of cypress, cedar, and musk grounds it in earthy warmth.
Apply this fragrance in light layers to allow its citrus and aromatic notes to unfold naturally. It’s best worn during the day or early evening when the warm woods and musk can add depth without overpowering.
