Launched in 2003 by Dior, Dune Sun is a Floral Fruity fragrance that encapsulates the essence of sun-kissed skin and warm, powdery woods. The composition opens with mandarin orange and black currant, creating an immediate sense of brightness and freshness. Freesia and lotus contribute a delicate floral touch, while jasmine adds a layer of sweetness. At its heart, sandalwood provides warmth and depth, complemented by vanilla and musk that evoke a powdery, comforting finish.
Given its long-lasting nature and moderate sillage, Dune Sun is best applied in two light sprays. The top notes are vibrant but fade within an hour, so let it settle for at least 15 minutes before stepping out to fully appreciate the heart and base notes that bloom over time.
