Crafted by Edmond Roudnitska in the 1950s for Dior, Eau de Cologne aux Fleurs Fraîches is a Chypre Floral composition that marries citrus brightness with earthy depth. The fragrance opens with lemon and lemon verbena, bringing an immediate freshness to the air. This is soon followed by floral notes of jasmine and rose water, creating a delicate balance between lightness and warmth. Oakmoss adds an earthy undertone, grounding the entire composition in its classic elegance.
This cologne is best applied in light layers to let its delicate top notes transition smoothly into the floral heart. The earthy base notes will gradually emerge as you move throughout your day, making it ideal for morning wear.
